Software Engineers with fluent C*C++ - Maidenhead
Software Engineers fluent in C*C++ required for leading provider of 16*32-bit embedded RISC microprocessor solutions in Maidenhead. You must have a good Computer Science*Software Engineering degree or similar, or relevant industrial experience (preferably with some exposure of embedded debuggers and*or trace*profiling*analysis tools). You must also have a working knowledge of development on Windows, Solaris UNIX and Red Hat Linux host platforms. An in depth knowledge of MFC, Qt or Swing (preferably with exposure to developing under a number of windowing systems), a good understanding of cross platform GUI development, exposure to GUI Internationalisation, and experience of code re-factoring techniques all a distinct advantage. As part of the development team you will be responsible for delivering new and enhanced features over several releases. This position is a key development role. There are a number of opportunities for candidates with differing levels of experience. This is a technical hands-on role and the successful candidate should expect to participate in the full development cycle from requirements capture to system testing. Good communication skills are essential, as is a methodical, organized, analytical approach to your work.
